How to Connect Boldr Smart Thermostat to Voice Assistants
Step 1: Access Voice Assistant Settings in the Boldr Energy App
- Open the Boldr Energy app.

Navigate to Settings.
- Scroll down and find Smart Home Integrations.
- Select the smart home platform you want to connect to.
Step 2: Connecting Your Boldr Smart Thermostat to Amazon Alexa

In the Settings page, tap the Alexa icon.
- Click the "Connect to Alexa" button.
- Sign in to your Amazon Alexa account, if you are not sign in already.
- The app will automatically link your Boldr Smart Thermostat to Alexa.
- Once connected, click Continue.
- Your Boldr Smart Thermostat is now linked to Alexa! You can now use voice commands and group devices into rooms within the Alexa app to match your setup in the Boldr app.
Step 3: Connecting Your Boldr Smart Thermostat to Google Home

In the Settings page of the Boldr Energy app, tap the Google Home icon.
- Click "Connect to Google" to open the Google Home app. Tap "Continue" to confirm account linking.
- You'll be redirected back to the Boldr Energy app—tap "Agree and link" to grant permissions.
- Once linked, Google Home will display your Boldr Smart Thermostat, ready for room assignment and control.
If you haven't set up a Home in Google Home:
- Open the Google Home app and create a Home.
- Tap Devices > Add a Device > Works with Google Home.
- Search for "Boldr", select it, and complete the linking process in the Boldr Energy app.
Step 4: Connecting Your Boldr Smart Thermostat to Apple HomeKit
- Open the Home app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap the + icon and select Add Accessory.
- Choose More options, then select Matter Accessory.
- In your Boldr Thermostat, tap to navigate to the Settings Menu.
- Hold the "pair with Matter" menu button to reveal the Matter QR Code.
- Scan the Matter QR Code with the Apple Home app.
- Follow the prompts to assign your device to a room and finish setup.
- Once completed, you can control your Boldr Device directly from the Home app or with Siri.
Step 4: Connecting Your Boldr Smart Thermostat to Samsung SmartThings
- Open the SmartThings app on your phone.
- Tap the + (Add) button, then select Device.
- Choose Matter from the device type list.
- In your Boldr Thermostat, tap to navigate to the Settings Menu.
- Hold the "pair with Matter" menu button to reveal the Matter QR Code.
- Scan the Matter QR Code with the Samsung SmartThings app.
- Select the location and room for your Boldr Device.
- Complete the guided steps.
Once completed, you can control your Klima Smart Thermostat from the SmartThings app and Bixby.
Step 5: Connecting Your Boldr Smart Thermostat to Home Assistant
1. Open Home Assistant and go to Settings > Devices & Services.
2. Click Add integration and search for Matter.
3. Select Add Matter Device.
4. In your Boldr Thermostat, tap to navigate to the Settings Menu.
5. Hold the "pair with Matter" menu button to reveal the Matter QR Code.
6. Scan the Matter QR Code with the Home Assistant app.
7. Assign the device to the correct area within Home Assistant.
Finalize setup. Your Boldr Device will now be controllable through dashboards, automations, and voice assistants connected to Home Assistant.
