ComfortZone AI maintains a consistent temperature range. If the unit is within range, it can automatically turn off or switch to fan mode to circulate air.

How to Access ComfortZone AI (For the end user)
ComfortZone AI is available for the end user through the Boldr Energy App, downloadable from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Open the Boldr Energy app.
Tap Settings.

Select ComfortZone.
Turn ComfortZone on using the toggle at the top of the screen.
Once enabled, you can choose to apply the same ComfortZone settings to all rooms or customize settings for each room individually.
Same ComfortZone for all rooms:
When this option is selected, the same ComfortZone rules apply to every room in your home where a boldr device is located.
Rooms with heaters will operate using Heat when below.
Rooms with air conditioners or mini-splits will operate using Cool when above.
Set temperature ranges

Set Heat when below
Choose the temperature below which your heater will automatically turn on.

Set Cool when above
Choose the temperature above which your air conditioner or mini-split will automatically turn on.
Within Range setting
This setting determines what your appliance does when the room temperature is within your chosen comfort range.
You can choose to:
Turn the unit off, or
Set the unit to fan mode.
Time conditions
You can limit when ComfortZone is active.
Tap the Time section.
Choose a predefined schedule or create a custom one.
Select specific days when you want ComfortZone to run.
Presence sensing conditions
Presence sensing allows ComfortZone to turn on when you are home and turn off when you are away.
To enable presence sensing:

Tap Presence sensing and enable it.
Choose one of the following options:
Off – Presence sensing is disabled
When I am home – ComfortZone runs only when you are home
When I am not home – ComfortZone runs only when you are away
When someone is home – ComfortZone runs when any household member is home
When no one is home – ComfortZone runs only when no household members are home
Custom ComfortZone per room
When this option is selected, you can set different ComfortZone rules for each room.
Rooms with heaters use Heat when below.
Rooms with air conditioners or mini-splits use Cool when above.
Set ComfortZone for a specific room

Tap the room you want to customize.
If the room has a heater, set Heat when below to choose when the heater turns on.
If the room has an air conditioner or mini-split, set Cool when above to choose when cooling turns on.
Within Range setting
On the room page, choose what happens when the temperature is within the comfort range:
Turn the unit off, or
Set the unit to fan mode.
Time conditions

Tap the Time section within the room settings.
Choose the time range when ComfortZone should operate.
Select the days you want these settings to apply.
Presence sensing conditions
Presence sensing can also be configured individually per room.
To set it up:

Tap Presence sensing and enable it.
Choose one of the following options:
Off – Presence sensing is disabled
When I am home – ComfortZone runs only when you are home
When I am not home – ComfortZone runs only when you are away
When someone is home – ComfortZone runs when any household member is home
When no one is home – ComfortZone runs only when no household members are home
