Household Management is a feature in the Boldr Energy App that lets the end user share access to their registered devices with family members, tenants, or guests.
Instead of one person controlling everything, the Admin can manage who gets access and at what permission level.
Access Levels
When inviting people, the end user can assign one of two roles:
- Admin – Full access to all Boldr controllers via the Boldr Energy app.
- Member – Limited access, allowing control of Boldr controllers via the Boldr Energy app but not the ability to change certain household settings or invite others.
This ensures the right level of control for each person in the property.
How to Add Household Members
- Open the Boldr Energy App.
- Tap the Settings button (bottom right).
- At the top of the screen, tap the arrow next to the property name.
- Select Manage Household.
- Next, tap Invite People and enter the invitee’s email address.
- Tap Next and choose the permission level (Admin or Member).
- Tap Send Invite.
The invitee will receive an email and be prompted to join during sign-up. Once accepted, they’ll have access to the Boldr Energy app as per the role assigned.
